Parking Assistant feature & self-parking ?

Car is a 2021 530e. It seems to have lots of parking sensors, including down each side. If you press the "Park Assist" button and drive slowly, it does seem to scan for suitably sized parking spaces, with a display on the screen, and if you stop in the wrong place, a warning comes up that the space isn't big enough.

But I'm unclear if it's supposed to be able to park itself, despite reading the manual and watching some stuff on Youtube. Obviously some cars can do it, but how do you know if you've got that option and/or how do you actually invoke it ?

I rarely use mine, but once it finds a space it’ll want you slow down and indicate, it’ll give you instructions: what’s it said to you in the past ( you say when isn’t happy with a space, but what’s it prompted when it has been happy)?

I think I just hadn't tried it enough - had another go today on a road which had lots of parked cars and free spaces, and it all worked fairly much as expected and parallel parked itself. Novel experience !
