Hi all, I'm having big trouble sorting this out, the joint in the middle of my Griff exhaust is leaking, I’m told it’s difficult to find a replacement, someone told me of a garage in Maidstone Kent that can do repairs and solve problems like this, does anyone know about this place? I don’t want to have to buy a whole new exhaust.
It's blowing enough to be an MOT advisory.
Also, I need a couple small touch ups on my paintwork, does anyone know of a place in mid Kent, preferably a mobile service that's fine working with fibreglass?

Many thanks,

Griff.

Bought and fitted one of these when I had the same issue, tight fit but it worked smile

Binned the U clamps and used a couple of these

As Philpot said. I did the same but brazed it onto the exhaust.

If you want a quick fix for MOT buy a sheet of 1mm Zinc sheet and bend it over the flexi bit and secure with a couple of 10mm bolts.
If this does not make sense I can send a photo. Zinc is very easy to cut and bend

Many thanks, I did think it must be fairly easy to bend a bit of metal and secure it with jubilee clips or similar, trouble is I don’t have access to a ramp otherwise I could do it myself.
Thanks for that Ebay link, I may look at that option, does anyone know what size I'd need?

If you're anywhere near Staffordshire 'Cole's Autotech' would make quick work of this
