This is the thread on mine, and I've had it for 6 years next April now. I'm still really happy with it too.

Not a roadster but I have had a 370z GT for nearly 5 years now and whilst it isn't heavily used (weekend car) it has been totally reliable. I have only bought tyres (and the obligatory noisy exhaust) outside of regular (cheap) servicing.
It just works. There is a lot to be said for that. It is obviously great fun to drive as well.
The only negative really is the cost of car tax, and I SORN mine over winter so it evens out over the year and isn't too objectionable.

Do you mind me asking which exhaust you put on?

Ps, OP another happy GT owner here. Reliable, fast enough, fun enough, interesting enough. Not dynamite but very pleasant to own without fear of big bills.

The performance flummoxes me with them to be honest. They never feel all that quick, but they still seem to pile the speed on when you look down at the speedo though. I've also found that there doesn't seem a lot of point in revving them right out to 7500rpm either really, because they tend to do their best work in the mid range by just using the torque. The VQ37VHR is quite as fascinating engine I reckon, because it feels easily one of the most torquey NA engines I've had(especially in comparison to some of the BMW NA engines I've had), but the actual torque figure isn't really much to right home about for me really though(maybe because I've been used to turbo engines though?). It is almost like Nissan have designed it to feel gutsy in the low to mid range I think, and I do really like it for that.

I didn’t fit a full exhaust but a set of Torqen short tails (axle back) as the existing was just a bit quiet, Pretty straightforward to fit, and the sound improvement is night and day if you like that sort of thing. A nice offbeat burble at low revs, a little woofle on the overrun and it now sounds like I hoped a V6 would when extended. And also a bit louder - but not objectionably so.Do you mind me asking which exhaust you put on?

It also feels to have allowed the engine to ‘breathe’ better at higher revs - it sounds much less congested for want of a better word, and does seem to rev more freely (though I may just be imagining this as it sounds so much better at high revs…).
