Hi guys,

I'v recently bought a C350 sport estate, 2012 model, with the M276 petrol engine. Seems to be a pretty unusual car in the UK.

The Xenon headlamps don't seem to be that bright. On main beam, the aim of the lights just lifts a bit without much extra light.

Any experience or thoughts ?

Hi There!

While Xenon lights don't tend to completely blow like Halogens do. They do tend to get dimmer with age. If the car is 2012 and these are the original bulbs, I'd presume this is just the usual aging process. New replacement bulbs would probably fix

So now I've discovered that LED bulbs with a D1S mounting are recently to the market as a replacement for the Xenon/ HIS original bulbs - about £80 a pair.
Anyone here tried these ?

TIA

The ILS xenons are excellent, it sounds to me like your self levelling bracket has come unconnected on the front suspension arm, which will make them point lower than they should.

As for the car, yes it's very rare! Only approx 45 or so left now of the C350 facelift with M276. There were only around 50 sold in the first place.
Estates are very rare, only a handful of them, approx 10-15 saloons and the rest are coupes.
