I’ve currently got an Evora 400. I’ve owned it for 2.5 years. I bought it with 23k on it. It’s now done 61k
It’s a black car but with full PPF. Wheels are also unmarked but suffering from lacquer peel.
So I’ve been thinking to trade up to a 410 sport. I can’t find one I want to buy. I went to see a main dealer car with 15k on it. It made my car look like it had just come out of the factory.
PPF refresh and alloy refurb is about 2k. Trade up to a newer 410 about 30k. I keep flipping between the two. Ignoring the money. What would you do?

Whatever the money, it's only worth it, if the 410 is really what you want, & will give you whatever aspects you're looking to get from it.
What aspect of the 'trade up' makes you want to have a 410? Make a note though of whatever the 400 may have, that the 410 might not, these maybe more important to you than the later/newer model.

I've got a 400, I think for £30k delta you're mad to be looking at going to a 410/430. It just isn't isn't that much of an improvement.
The 400 has arguably a smidge more practical interior with door pockets.
I'm modifying mine, when it's finished it will be a far better all rounder than any of the factory cars. It's got:
KW V3 coilovers (but not too stiff - springs rates exactly halfway between 400 and the Ohlins on the 430),
Hydraulic lift front axle lift,
Ti exhaust (but still valved so can still cruise without excessive drone)
various bits of weight reduction, seats lowered etc.
Shortly to do:
Remap to 430 tune (this is simply a throttle derestriction - all 400s/410s can be unlocked to 430 engine spec very easily, there are no engine hardware changes between the cars)
Fit Jokerz 2.9" supercharger pulley
aftermarket headers (and possibly sports cat).
This should take it to somewhere around 470-480 bhp.

Maybe we should change this to the black Evora 400 forum! I have one too.
Personally, I think the 410GT/Sport looks better than the 400 but I couldn’t justify the huge difference in price. Add to that the glut of nearly new Emiras that are already undercutting 410s and it’s no surprise that many 410s have been on the market for some time, they seem overpriced IMHO. If I were spending £60k, I’d go Emira, I’d worry about the cost if the tech goes wrong and it falls short of Evora in a couple of areas but, on balance, I think it’s a step up from the Evora.
But… I wouldn’t spend the £60k, keep the 400, it’s a great car, throw a few quid on tidying up, it’ll pay you back when the time comes to sell, you may not get more money but it’ll be an easier sell.

I think you’re all on balance correct. I think I was concerned about the mileage primarily but the car is used and serviced correctly and lives indoors
I went to see a 410 that had 50k miles less than mine and it looked terrible. I was all set for an Emira however seeing them all in the dealers stacked up for warranty work and paint has put me off somewhat.
I think I’ll refresh the PPF and wheels and keep for now. Maybe there will be a sorted Emira special edition in a couple of years !
