Ford clutch issue

Hi All

I picked up a Fusion at the weekend

2009, 42k on the clock

Last year the clutch was changed at 41k, but i have noticed the bite point is very high and its popping out of reverse when reversing up a hill. Can the clutch be adjusted if the clutch is 1 year old and 1k on it?
