Hi everyone

When you purchase an approved used Ferrari from a U.K. main dealer, what paperwork should you receive?

I thought I would receive official documentation showing that the vehicle had been checked and what defects had been rectified prior to sale as stated in the Ferrari adverts, I only received a photocopy of the sales invoice and warranty document.

The dealer has kindly sent me when asked a copy of the ticked handover sheet and ceramic brake disclaimer which is useful, but I was hoping for something more interesting for the history file.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think you can get a copy of the Health Check if you ask. It's not overly informative but does give an indication of condition and wear to a number of areas.

Only got the same really, a invoice and much later confirmation of my warranty which was covered by the factory not Maranello's,

I'm sure i could have had more if i'd asked but didn't really think about it at the time,

Surely its reasonable to ask for documentation that they have promised to be present.

I do get the impression that Ferrari dealers turn these cars around rapidly - they generally seem to be relatively keenly priced and appear to move pretty swiftly if they are of reasonable spec/miles - perhaps the dealers are a little blase as they know the next sale is pending and once a deal its done, its thanks and NEXT please !

Must admit, when I renew my warranty each year, the car is meant to go through an inspection process - which you normally have to pay for. I’ve never been sent the report.
