Just Signed up for this and ordered an RFID card.
How do I:

(1) Connect this account to my Home Octopus Account?
(2) Change the method of Payment so its added to my Home Bill?

I've never used it, but applied when it launched.
It just appeared in the app and I always assumed you used that.

I presumed it was automatically added to home energy account. I’ve had one for a couple of years, never used it though so can’t confirm.

It should automatically link to your home Octopus account, mine certainly did 6 months ago.

I use mine now and again, but the advertised "cheaper rates" aren't all that common. Worth having considering it's free.

I'm pretty sure by default mine was linked and get's billed to my home account. I've used it a few times without any issues.

I think you just need to download the Electroverse app and then change the method of payment on there.

As pointed out, only a few pennies cheaper (sometimes) but does offer the convienence of minimising cards / accounts as Electroverse does cover a large proportion of the networks.

Also means your not used a debit card and having to argue about getting pre-auth charges back.

patience was the name of the game.
Had to wait a day and then the option to link to me Home bill appeared.
Linked it just now and is in pending state.
I'll switch to it once it goes live.

Not all chargers will accept it from my experience. However between the Electroverse card and my contactless bank card, I've never required anything else.

My experience too. Whenever I wanted to use destination charging to use up the free credit the charger wasn't available.

Have to say I am very disappointed with Octopus Electroverse.

Haven't received my RFID card and linking to my home account is still pending.
Tomorrow will be 2 weeks!
