Hi all. First time posting so please accept my apologies if I'm committing any crimes of decorum!

Does anyone have a C-Class estate and would be willing to measure the height of the boot (the tallest section right behind the back seat)? I'm considering buying one but want to check it'll be tall enough for my dog. There isn't one for sale anywhere near me so trying to save what could be a long wasted journey. I've looked online a lot but can't find that exact measurement, just the boot opening measurement from RIDC which will be different.

Many thanks,

Rob

Are you talking about the height of the lip the dog would have to jump up to to get into the boot?

You could calculate it from photos and dimensions of the wheels and tyres.

It would be really easy if the boot opening lined up with the centre of the wheel but if not then you could get a good estimate.

No, the height when he's sitting in the boot, so from boot floor to ceiling.

2015 plate.

Thanks for the dims image. I saw that, but not sure if any of those measurements cover what I'm looking for... With the angle of the roof the measurement I'm looking for will be taller than 709 but not as tall as 795, unless I'm mistaken?

What size/breed of dog do you have?

Dogs are pretty good at folding themselves up into pretty small spaces.

You dont get into a car and sit bolt upright yourself.

He's a huskita. On long journeys he'll mix between laying down and sitting up watching the world go by. I've had a Freelander 2 his whole life which has a tall boot so just wanted to make sure he wouldn't get a hunchback! wink
