Paint for underside/wheel arches/engine bay
Discussion
Hi,
What paint do people recommend to paint the underside, inner wheel arches and engine bay?
Body is off the chassis.
I don't want to spend hours and hours doing prep work just for the underside. Ideally like to just hose it down, scrub it and daub some matt black on. Don't have an easy way to lift it up very high either to get underneath easily either.
Any advice appreciated.

I did all of the engine bay black with this when I painted the chassis years ago, under the bonnet and had the radiator and manifolds off. Did both wheel arches but run out of paint and didn't bother with the bottom of the car. Prep went as far as spraying degreaser on it all and then jet washing it down. It's all still on there, none of it has changed colour or flaked off as far as I've noticed. Remember it being an absolute piece of piss to apply as well, it was all one coat just pushed around with a random paint brush, it's fairly thick so self leveled out the brush marks.
