Just thinking about giving my “new” Chim a good clean and polish.
I would not have thought it would be an issue, but if there are any detailers out there, is it ok to clay the car and is there a need for any “special” wax?
Just asking in case the paint on a fibreglass body is different in any way?

Technically GRP doesn't dissipate heat as well as a metal bodied car, but in all honesty with todays DA polishers you'd have to do something monumentally stupid to cause any issues.
If you plan to machine polish then its all in the prep. Otherwise just wash and wax (with whatever is your preference, it doesn't make any difference) as you normally would.
They can scrub up quite well !!
