Brake lights not working

My 2002 Defender td5 110 failed the MOT for intermittent brake lights. Thye now don't work at all.

Taillights are fine and it's the same bulb anyway, 3rd brake light out too. Checked the switch it´s fine. Fuses all ok.

Does anyone know where the brake lights earth if they have a separate earth to the taillights?

Any help would be most welcome.
