1.5 hours from NW London - good gastro pub and roads?

Perhaps asking too much!

Want to take a car out for a blast on a Wednesday.

Ideally, this would involve some fun roads, a nice lunch, then finding a nice little showroom to browse before we turn home. I suspect I might have to settle for lunch and that's it within 1.5 hours of London.

Any thoughts?

Cricketers in Clavering and pop into Hilton & Moss in Bishop’s Stortford

Or a trip to Woodbridge and Bridge Classic Cars. Haven’t got any particular recommendations for there but Woodbridge has plenty of options for food.

Edit to add just noticed you said NW London but if you head north and then pick up the A507 east to Clavering, it’s a cracking road. Woodbridge would be too far east though.

Drive from A41 outside Watford upto Buckingham and then onto Silverstone. Great roads and loads of pubs outside Northampton.
