New Demonstrator

The TVR Centre in North London is to open its doors to everyone on the weekend of 1st and 2nd October.

The dealer - one of the most long standing in the official network - will be showcasing their brand new Tuscan convertible during the weekend.

All are welcome - drop them an email if you plan to attend - with the showroom being open from 9-5pm on the Saturday and 11-4pm on the Sunday.

the only bug bear is that they didn't keep the screw-thingies for the roof and so have the usual TVR elbow struts which take up a lot of room on the "dog shelf"...

So is the roof mechanism a targa panel or is it a full convertible ?

I know which system I'd prefer, and that system is the old one. The thought of having to screw knobs (cue Podie) up tight enough and hope the roof stays in place? no thanks.

Have they removed the bulge below the steering column, yet? The one that clobbers your knee-caps.

Yup thats the one, the new pod is now very set back so you should now be able to see it in sunlight.

Sat in one at TVR London on Tuesday.

If you look closely you will see that the indicator stalks are now plastic!!!!!!! They look like ford focus ones.

Aparently all new cars are going down this route.

Looks like Leven will have a new market!!

Personally I rather like the interior of the Tuscan Roadster. Especially the counter-rotating dials! Rich...

Just seen this in the MPH 05 Press Release:

As with all motorshows, visitors will get a first glimpse of the cars of tomorrow with TVR, Volvo, Citroën, Saab and the American supercar giants Saleen all promising to host UK public debuts of exciting new models.

So I take it it wont be the model above!

It looks like this new dashboard is very easy to change into LHD-form. Good news for us here on the continent.
