C Class estate (W206) - Additional "services"

Hi All...I am thinking of getting a C Class estate, likely the newer W206 made in the last year or so.

One thing I really want is the adaptive cruise control, it looks like most newer models have the button on the steering wheel for this function, but it seems to be a subscription type service through MyMercedes.

Does anyone have any info on when you need to start paying for it (is there a free period included?), and how much it actually costs?

The sales guys I've talked to seem a little vague on the subject!
