"Service due soon"

2022 MX-5 ND

Serviced 3 months, 1000 miles ago at main dealer.

Why am I seeing "Service due soon" flashing on my dash?

Can / should I just cancel it and wait until normal service time next year?

Don't intend servicing more than once a year unless a major problem.

Dealer probably didn't reset the service reminder. Google or YouTube will show you how to do it yourself.

Thanks. I suspected that.

So garages have gone from forgetting to stamp the service book on old cars to forgetting to reset the service reminder on modern cars.

Drives me mad when companies just can't get the basics right.

Just had to reset it in my Father's Ecosport that has recently been serviced at a Ford dealer.

I reset mine about 3 months before I got round to the service and when I got it back, it said 9 months to next service so reset it myself again
