Hi, need one of these and looking through the previous posts it looks like David Beer may be able to help, but I can’t find any contact information anywhere.
Tried an email address quoted in an old post, but my email just came back as undeliverable.
Can anyone help?

It was HF solutions that upgraded the alarm/immobiliser on this particular car and on the invoice for the work they stated
“there is no facility to have a remote boot release with this installation “
So I presume that they will not be able to assist.

Already been in touch with HF solutions.
They have said that the alarm/immobiliser system that they installed on this car does not have a remote boot release functionality so can’t help

There is a boot release mod involving a magnetic fob that some have done that may be worth you looking into.

I've made that type of mod. Will pm the op as don't wish to discuss my install on open forum. Suffice to say it works really well and is fairly straight forward to do.

Likewise, I did one and it’s fairly straightforward particularly if you don’t mind it being always on (as opposed to only when car unlocked / alarm off). However the location I chose for the reed switch wasn’t dry and it all rusted and failed hehe so if you do it, choose the location wisely!

I got a new META alarm fitted ... i retained the switch under the dash (works with ignition ON) , had external button installed in number plate recess ( again only works with ignition ON , but means I can open the boot when the ignition is ON but I'm outside , obviously without key fob) and the new key fob has a 2nd button for boot release when unarmed. Seems to meet all my requirements and I can't lock my keys in boot smile .

PS If you hadn't guessed I'm a golfer , with clubs in the boot smile

You mean your keys are detected if in the boot like modern cars?
