New S owner

Hi just purchased an s3 2.9
My first TVR since having a triumph stag for 15 years.

Replacing the discs drums and pads.

Tyres are 10 years old judging by numbers although plenty of tread


hopefully some of my questions (dumb they may be ) can get answers.

I had a stag ages ago too. great for wafting along, but the opposite to the TVR which is a drivers sports car. Welcome.


Ref the tyres, - change them! After about 7 years the rubber hardens and so grip goes down (no mater how much tread is left). On a light powerful car like the TVR this is dangerous, especially ion the wet...i know from experience.
