Side window scrapers.

Ok guys, whilst the door cards are off for installation of the Omega door handles I replaced the two (on each door) foam pieces which had deteriorated to basically powder, I took a look at my window scrapers and glad to report that my retro fit is holding up fantastic.
As we all know that finding OE window scrapers (felt) are nigh on impossible and if you can find them £££.
What I did was to disassemble the metal and felt strip (just one tiny screw holding them to the door) stripped off the worn out felt, give the two metal strips a sand to get rid of surface rust, primed and a spray of matte black, put overnight in the airing cupboard then apply a strip of "anti rattle/squeak self adhesive felt strip (EBAY around £5) to both drivers and passengers side. It's been around two years and still looks like I did it yesterday, so if your window scrapers are failing give it a try, better that spending £££ on OE parts.
