This issue has fried my brain.

So feed is the green and black stripe, output is green and white stripe. Black goes to earth and orange is switch illumination.
So to make the switch less stressed turning on and off I’ve used the output green and white stripe to turn a four pin relay on and off. That part works fine. Problem I have is the led within the switch that’s supposed to glow when the circuit is switched on isn’t! The led is tested and works perfectly.
Is the led not glowing because of insufficient load as the switch is just activating the relay now?
Having a play if I swap the feed input to the output side and vice versa then bridge the output to the black I can get the led to light on and off with the switch but…….it lights up when the circuit N the relay is open rather than shut. Clearly not correct.
I’m using an ignition feed into the switch so when the ignition is off the relay opens and stops any drain on the battery
Any help or pointers will be greatly appreciated
