Brakes & Suspension Pre LCI F11 535d SE vs MSport
Discussion
Hi, I'm interested in finding the differences between the SE and MSport brakes on the Pre LCI 535d.
I have an SE and I'm thinking about refreshing some of the suspension when I replace the dampers.
I've noticed the MSport brakes seem to be smooth and painted while the SE brakes seem to be grey and textured, while Real OEM doesn't seem to differentiate on the 535. There are notes regarding "high performance brakes" and different parts for the 520 for example.Do the 2 535's have the same brakes?
I've also read that MSport has uprated bushes in addition to the springs and dampers, but again I couldn't see any reference to this on Real OEM for the 535.
Likewise the steering seemed the same on Real OEM.

Hi,
I'm not sure how helpful this will be but when I had an E92 335i in SE spec it had the same brakes and suspension as the M Sport model. I think this may have been due to the car having the same power/loads as the M Sport model.
Maybe this is the same in your case? Some digging on google would probably answer this fairly quickly.
