Duster gearbox

We've a 100tce, 5 speed.

Gear change is manageable but a bit notchy and unpleasant.

Is the 6 speed and the box in the 1.3 the same?

I think I've driven worse, not sure when. Certainly it's not a joyous snicking though the shifts experience. Hence the q, alternatively maybe an auto.

My wife tried the 1.3 manual and didn't like the changes so went with the 150 auto.

It's not brilliant but not irritating either, just a bog standard 6 speed that does the job.

I just changed the fluid in mine as part of routine servicing, I think it's improved it marginally.

Ours is the 5 speed. Mrs H (the main driver) doesn't get on well with it, bulky and notchy, particularly when cold.
