Do people not normally agree and confirm a meeting before travelling?

This was the ICC decision to seek an arrest warrant for Israel’s leader and defence minister which David Lammy supported. rofl

Absolute pleb. However, I would assume he has met with other political figured whilst there? If not, sigh. He should be made to pay for his own travel.

I am not surprised he was ignored. I would to - some of the things he has said over the years are clearly racist and he seems to have been given a 'pass' on this just like others within the Labour party.

Was it paid for by the taxpayer or was it funded as usual by LFI (Labour Friends of Israel) ?

Let's hope he at least got an envelope full of spending money.

Nethanyahu acting like another despot dictator and throwing his toys out the pram because the law is catching up to him and his ministers ..

UK leadership really needs to grow a spine when it comes to Israel rather than cowtowing and being afraid of the inevitable smears and throwing mud against anyone who dares to speak negatively against Israel ..

Why do you do this? Respond to the thread by ignoring the nuance I mean. You do it a lot.

The nuance here is that that Foreign Secretary flew to Israel to see their PM without making an appointment first. The context is that the Foreign Secretary believes that Israel's PM should be arrested and sent to the Hague, so he never had any chance of making an appointment.

I think when you don't skip over the nuance and the context the thread is a bit easier to understand, you should try it.

The News said:
Lammy visited Israel on a joint trip with his French counterpart Stephane Sejourne. They met Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz and Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer.

A Foreign Office source told Middle East Eye there had been no plans for David Lammy to meet Netanyahu.
Put your pitchforks down...

The Labour Government could have Christ reincarnated and people would still be "Why didn't they make God himself appear"? It's laughable.
