BIG BIG props to Simon Bloxham at windrush paintworks. If you’ve a TVR that needs some work doing, highly recommended!! smile

I never loved the front end of my Cerbera, with ginger indicators and the horrible pods that weren’t cool like the OG single lenses, nor sleek like the blended. I also had lots of aged PPF that made the front look tatty. I’d always wanted to de-ginger, de-PPF, De-gold, and blend.

After seeing another member reference Simon’s work I contacted him for a chat & a quote. He’s a long way away from me, but he just seemed to know TVRs and the paint so much better than anyone I’d spoken to and was very very competitive on price and capability. So I got my car flatbedded over to him (from Hilton&Moss who totally refreshed coolant system! Thanks to them too, but that was more “standard work”) and just trusted Simon to get on with it.

I finally managed to collect it last week, and save the final touch (new silver TVR badge I’ll be fitting this week) the Cerb is just in amazing condition.

Honestly it’s never been better and the drive home was amazing. The car is almost perfect, everything works, everything feels right. Everything feels tight. I’ve wanted to get it to this condition for some time but other stuff got in the way, but it’s there now.

It’s a 2 owner 18k mile 4.5 joolz’d car. Tbh I doubt there are many better out there.

I’m a lucky lucky boy.

Thank you Simon - you’ve made it the car I always saw when I looked at it, but never made the leap until I spoke to you. Deep thanks.

I just need the right private plate as these are tatty!

Congratulations, this looks fantastic. Is it chameleon blue?

I agree that the cleaned front looks even better than the insert with the small lamps.

For us Continentals, any UK license plate looks cool. In my opinion, you don't need a private plate at all.

I think it’s reflex green.

I have another Tuscan that I thought was the same colour in for some other work and Simon told me it was a different colour, I thought they were the same the last 5 years :-D I think he said the Tuscan is reflex purple and the Cerb reflex green! Or the other way around biggrin

Wow, that looks like an awesome job. So Simon and his team blended the reflex paint on your wings to the original paint, or has the rest of car been repainted previously?

My Tuscan is the same colour, which I also call reflex green. My car has been very well used by previous owners so could do with a full respray at some point.

Have made a note of Windrush’s details.

Nice, I didn't think these paints could be blended. I thought it was a total respray otherwise would look st?
It looks fantastic, congrats on a beautiful car

I always thought the same. Then spoke to Simon smile

Totally possible to fix minor stuff without going crazy!

Another very strong recommendation for Simon and the wider team; constant communication throughout the process - from first introduction through to handover and thereafter. Nothing too difficult in terms of ongoing queries, very regular and fulsome progress updates/photos, and a superb final outcome with the highest quality finish (which for me was a very unusual and full change of colour).

You come away from working with Simon with the strong sense that he actually gives a damn and wants the very best outcome.

My car could do with a budget 20ft paint job at the front, I guess wouldn't be the right paint shop to approach?
