Fast Idle issue

Idle question for the collective. Last weekend I sat in heavy traffic for over 2 hours, car didn't miss a beat, didn't overheat, no issues at all, when traffic starting moving again it did splutter a bit but nothing major.

Roll on to this weekend and it's idling at about 1200 pm and will not drop, drives ok but shunts due to high revs. I've cleaned the stepper motor and checked for leaks etc but found nothing, any ideas?

Check the throttle isnt being held open, was it the reason you removed the stepper to clean?

Checking for leaks really needs to be done with a smoke tester as the leak you are looking for is very small.
