Hi,
For my MOT I need to replace the Gaz Gold front shocks that have both cracked at the bottom.
The car is only for road use so quite fancy "plug and play" Bilsteins rather than replacing with adjustables, which I never have/will adjust.
Has anyone purchased Bilstein front shock-absorbers recently? Any idea of prices? Bilstein were no help and just referred me to Blackdown...who are on holiday til 27th :-(
TIA

Just wait for blackdown to return, hes an ex Tvr chassis engineer so well worth it.
You will need to replace the whole lot sadly to keep it balanced but its money well spent.
Gaz do repair stuff so maybe worth a call if you wanted to refurb your existing stuff.

Why sell a shock 1/2 complete.
No spring or bushes!
I’d definitely wait until Ben Lang is available.
