Big TVR event at Elvington this weekend

Cerbera - A Modern Classic

It's ten years since the introduction of the TVR Cerbera - still one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

To mark the occasion The Cerbera Register has organised an event at Elvington Airfield near York which will see eighty Cerberas gathering for a show and track day. Over 250 people are expected to attend.

The event has also attracted some spectacular guest cars with the ultimate Cerbera - the V12 powered Speed 12 - taking centre stage in the static display, while a host of modified and custom Cerberas will also be in attendance.

Racers Team LNT will be there with their 2005 T400R Le Mans car, but also with their new 2006 race car, the stunning Panoz Esperantes. The customer road Esperantes will also be on show along with a very rare T440R road car.

Triple S Girls

Trade stands will be present along with the Triple S girls helping to raise money for the Anthony Nolan Leukaemia Trust. There is a chance to win a brand new Audi TT Roadster worth over £20,000, there are Superbreak holiday vouchers worth £500, jackets, fleeces, t-shirts, car chargers, wheel nuts, artwork, chauffer driven rides, trade vouchers, polishing kits, TVR Car Club vouchers, books and plenty more.

All TVR fans are welcome to attend. Prices are as follows:

• Cerbera Track Day (includes one entrance ticket) £110.00* (*Places limited)
• Extra Driver (includes the entrance ticket) £23.00
• Car Admission (includes one entrance ticket) £10.00
• Additional Adult Entrance Tickets £3.00 each

Any Cerbera attending is entitled to take part in a one hour high-speed session subject to event noise and safety restrictions.

to Graham for organising this fantastic event. It takes a lot of effort, time and perseverance to make things like this happen in what is a small community.

No-one loves these cars more than he does. He had a vision of a special Cerbera event with Cerbs only on track, the achievement is even more remarkable.

Well done Graham, can't wait till Saturday.

Yes, big thank you to Graham, I know you've worked really hard to make this happen

Now it's just fingers crossed that we get the Cerb back in time , not looking good so far Still plan to be there in the S even if we don't get the Cerb back - we'll be the glum looking couple watching from the sidelines

Totally agree with ceejay Graham deserves a medal for the work he has put in on organising cream cant wait it looks like its going to be a huge success. Just hope i get my car back as well.

We'll still be heading up on Friday night but not until later as I need to take the kids down to my mum's straight after school. We cancelled our hotel room and are stopping at a mate's place as I don't think we're going to get there in time to make a night of it.
So, we'll see you Saturday morning with any luck.

hi there just got back myself must admit i thought that i had gone on the wrong day after all the effort that the organizers had gone to i thought the TVR community would have been more in attendance, it was nice to meet mark adams and tim lamont very nice gentlemen indeed lnt,s car was very interesting at first i could not understand why it could not get grip but when i saw it was not running on slicks would explain the spins whats the phoenix ft

Well considering the Speed Twelve is the engine I take it there was fast looking body that had claim to fame that it once housed a Speed Twelve.

PH Cerbera Forum thread said that there were no spaces left for track time and 200 spectator ticket had been sold. I decided not to go because I thought it would be packed out.
