Went over to this meet today.
Mainly due to this post I checked it out on Insta, saw that it was happening and, as the weather was dry this morning decided to head over as it's not far from me.
An interesting mix of cars, not too many but an nice selection with some friendly owners. I don't normally pick a favourite from a car meet but there was one which, at least to me, stood apart from the rest.
Apparently first registered in the US (hence the LHD) it looked to have had a light and sympathetic restoration and looked stunning. The Mk1 Cortina was a car I grew up with though I never had a Lotus version like this one. A stunning example and only lives a few miles from me according to the owner.
The meet will be happening again on the 20th October though that will probably be the last one until Feb/March I was told.
