Hi can any one please help, I had a water leak and it has got into my ecu. I have a 1992 Griffith 4ltr as it would not start, it has been to an auto electrician and he has sorted all my electrics and found the issue is the ecu. I have looked on the web but struggling to find one so I'm coming to yous for help in finding one. Or pointed in the right direction, the part number is prc9610 landrover 80269D or is there any alternatives I have no idea.

Thanks Andy

It's a Range Rover Classic 'Lucas Hotwire 14CUX' ECU.

There are various ECU testing companies around who will check it for you and may be able to suggest ways to repair it, or contact one of the well known TVR tuning specialists such as Mark Adams, or contact one of the RV8 specialists (who will probably suggest one of the above options).

Ideally get it sorted out by a TVR specialist since the ECU contains a map which is specific to your make and model of car; anyone trying to swap it with a standard ECU may get it running but probably won't get it running right.

Get in touch with joolzs from Kits & Classics Chesterfield.
He has a shed load. He replaces them with a more modern system. Coil packs etc.
So it will be a simple replacement plug in job.
Julian Lane dare i post his number, why not 07521288875.

Maybe get the car transported to him so it could be fitted and remapped properly too, if he has one that is.
Will transform the car.

Did I read somewhere that Joolz is winding things down a bit, not taking new bookings?

Apologies to Joolz if I have this all wrong!
