Mystery warning symbol

V8V, glass key model.
After parking, I noticed a yellow warning light, that I have never seen before.
It was displayed in a strange position too, immediately above the 'Read' button in the centre console.
The design of the symbol did not convey a clear meaning, but did have a diagonal line, presumably indicating something was not working.
When I returned to the car, that symbol was not illuminated and has not been seen again.
I have looked in the owner's manual, but could not find anything of help.
The strange thing being, I did not know anything displayed in that area of the centre console.
Have any of you seen something similar?

Yep, it's the "Passenger Airbag Disabled" symbol, as shown in the above picture, in orange. It comes on for a few seconds at ignition on

Very strange that I have never seen the illuminated symbol before, as the handbook extract says it illuminates briefly each time the ignition is switched on.
I now have some clues to learn more about this.

No stranger than the fact I had to check as I'd never noticed the symbol above the "Read" button either. Or that there's also a similarly momentary piece of orange text about the airbag above "T1/T2" button either: I just tend to be focussed on the information in the DIM as the car starts
