hi guys, I was going to leave this job till nearly last, but I saw a bonnet come up for 200 quid that I found, now mine was a cat C in a previous life and the damage was repaired poorly and had quotes for 2k to repair the minimum damage on the bonnet and respray the front wing, I get it that it's fiberglass and a bit specialist, but that seems steep if I can get a clean bonnet and resprayed for 700 quid or so maybe? (yes I think it's in good condition) and just bolted on and then just worry about the poor paint job on the wing another day, mine is a 2000 plate, 4 bolts on the front, 2 each side, are they all interchangeable? thanks again.
I might have read on an old thread on here once that the later ones were vented better?

May be better to visit your chosen painter first to ask their advice as they may want to paint the entire front end to blend it properly and do a decent job.

Not sure where you’re located but i know several members of the local TVR CC that have used Option1 in Bromsgrove and been very pleased with the job & cost.

The bonnet needs some repair work which is whats pushing the price up, so if that one that i saw was in tacked, I'm still waiting on a reply from the seller, it would be cheaper to pop a new bonnet on and spray it rather than the cost of the repair

Might be worth giving Mark at Amore a call. He may know someone.

Yeah I'll try that, not going to do too much research if it's not cut and dry as it seems like a gamble, Maybe the answer is to get other quotes in, the reason why I went to this company is they done a really good job for a friend and it was stupidly cheap and as it happens, they do fiberglass work too, in fact they done a TVR a couple of weeks ago
