I'm looking to sort out some paint to tidy up (not repaint) parts of my car. Simple bits like the scuttle, door shuts (very scratched) and the targa top (polished to oblivion).

I've seen paint sold at various places but the lacquers advertised to go with this are often clear.

What should the lacquer be? Is it a form of Spectraflair?

Is it a simple 2 stage colour (base+lacquer) or 3 stage (base+mid+Iacquer).

I know what's left of my original lacquer has that iridescent look to it. The dealer who I bought this off repainted the boot and because the lacquer used was clear it doesn't look quite right but it will do for now.

I know this is a difficult colour to repaint but I only want to tidy up some obvious areas and save up for a proper repaint at some point in the future.

I have the same on my Tuscan, tried two different touch ups and none are close. I was told it was based on an Alfa colour, mostly yellow base? Sorry cant help any further
