Purely out of interest, I had a look at a Cat N Vantage.
Presumably an uneconomic repair, written off by an insurer.
It states front damage and some side damage, but the photos don't appear to show any significant damage.
What is going on?

There is also a DBX shown, but that does look sad.
Only one airbag appears to have operated.
Do you think someone will be offered that car, following a repair?

Both nearside wheels and tyres show some damage, additionally the front near side suspension has collapsed which seems to have led to the wheel damaging the wing.
If the car has had a nearside impact hard enough to collapse suspension then there may well be other damage to underpinnings.
Front grille is missing, not clear why or what other damage there is in that area.

Nothing mysterious there Jon, nearside (esp front) has taken an impact hard enough to damage suspension components and the displaced wheel has hit the wing. Likely £20-25k if repaired by AM and way more than enough to make a car of that age a cat N write off. N means the insurer has deemed no structural damage so this, with its apparently minimal body damage may be well worth a punt for the right price - it's easy worth the 10k bid, but not what is being asked....
The DBX looks like it could be contender for a Mat Armstrong special.
For the V8V, they’ve put estimated value at 28k, that would be for a decent example of a V8V Roadster, they’re likely asking too much.
I saw damage to rear n/s alloy (looked buckled) not sure if it’s past reparable or not, also damage to front n/s allow (not buckled) but then add on to Calinours detail of full suspension on front and likely some on the back of the damage was enough to buckle the alloy.
