Has anyone re-upholstered a seat in leather, I have a small tear in mine and wondered how much it would cost to re-cover or just replace that particular leather panel. Thanks in advance for any replies before I try and locally scource a repair

Steve,
Re-covering the seats will cost upwards of £500, I have had mine done. If its just a small tear and the rest of the leather is in OK condition (by that I mean soft not hard and cracked) I would take it along to a local trimmer to you. Get a quote for replacing the panel and then reconolise both seats, they will look like new? I did this on my old S2 I hadthe FULL seat base of the driver seat replaced and some panels from the passenger side, reconolised all for £150 so yours should be cheaper, they looked like new, just ask ADYW??

If you have any questions feel free to ask Steve.

I guess there are many people in need of a seat retrim these days.

Has anyone approached one of these companies with the view of cutting a set of patterns? So that it would be possible to order a set of re-covers.
Or do they just strip each seat individually and cut out round the old pieces??
