Sorry guys, but still rummaging around my engine bay looking for things wrong and I wondered what these plugs are doing that don't seem to be connected to anything, any ideas?



Im referring to that white round thing in the top pic to the left of the distributor clip




I was actually looking for the coolant temp sensor from a google search, but nothing in my engine bay from the pictures i found, presumably different modles my have it located in another location maybe, thats when I found those connectors seemingly doing nothing

I also have a couple of tied up unused connectors.
Maybe aircon, also because TVR didn’t strip out the unused parts of the Rover loom, just tucked them away-ish

Your serpentine belt is also routed incorrectly frown long term that alt pulley is going to eat that belt due to demand/resistance

Ah, yes, old photo.
It’s routed correctly now, with a new belt, which was fitted a couple of days after this photo - to your point you can see black belt residue on the alternator.
