lots of interesting discussions here in the vantage section, most of it knowledgeable and informed.
for potential vantage purchasers, here's my (first ever) twopennyworth.

i'm on my 5th vantage since 2009, 4.3, 4.7, 4.7S, V12, V12S+AMR (all SS).
they all gave me that gormless grin as i started up and the 'look back over your shoulder' stiff neck when walking away, but my current one (67 reg, see photo) is so far ahead of all the others, i urge anyone looking, to scrimp, save, sell the wife and/or the children, to get into that final model.
595bhp in real world terms is mental and the noise (THE NOISE !) out the titanium system is epic (i turn it off in town).

ok, even at 104 yrs old i'm lucky, blessed, whatever, to be able to afford it and its the best £(huge) spend i've ever made and no . . . . . . . . . . my surname doesn't start with an S nor end with an LL.

Robbie, wholeheartedly share your love for this incredible machine.

My car doesn’t have the AMR PP. Its a 2017 V12VSM new to me as of April this year. Before purchase, I’d had the PP as a premium but behind manual and colour on the roulette on listed availability (believe there are only 96 manuals in the UK).

It does have the secondary decat and I find it wonderfully overdone even without the titanium system. Given a few kits seem to still be available I have wondered (mainly pre-purchase) if it would be worth picking one up before they disappear.

Mine is a SP+ car so the gain would be more in the region on 25bhp as quoted by the factory. Personally I already find that the car has plenty of shove (tc light flashing in third on a straight warm dry section of road with fresh PS5 rubber).

But would be interested to hear vis-a-vis decat vs PP to mull whether its worth it before the last kits disappear.

I believe the last of the PP kits were sold a while back, but its always worth checking with the factory just in case what I had heard was not entirely correct.

Here is my review of when I added the AMR PP just over 3years ago to my V12VSM after owning it from new for 4years. Total over 7yrs since I factory specced my car which seems like yesterday. How time flies!

OP - lovely car, congrats...

By the look of your car it could well be the JCT600 demonstrator car they applied the Aerokit and PP to at a similar time to when I bought mine.

Here is a picture of my car and theirs back to back at a dealer organised AM meet up. The called it the Wolf! smile

From memory they intended to paint over the yellow decals on the front bumper as they thought it didnt look right with the dive blades cutting through them.

Here is a video I took of it in their workshop whilst it had the aerokit fiteed, perhaps the reg plate will help you identify if it is indeed the same car.

Recently I picked up a Vantage V12S manual with PP and it's incredible. Adam thank you for all your posts because it helped me make the decision. The sound is like nothing else and I still can't believe Aston shoehorned a V12 into a car with a similar footprint size to a Boxster. Ive also done the CC Charger remote valve controller but tend to leave the valves open all the time. Im always looking to see if there are further enhancements and undecided as to whether to get the Bamford Rose / Quicksilver / Velocity AP exhaust manifold upgrade. As I understand it the primary cat is removed and you end up with a secondary cat (which the Performance Pack removes) but overall a less restrictive set up. The combination of that with titanium rear exhausts is tempting or is that a terrible idea. Any thoughts?

I have the VAP full system with GT4 back boxes, no valves. its quiet untill you press the loud pedal. not the preferred aston sound but i love it.
