Auction: 2007 BMW M3 (E92)
Discussion
Both throttle valve actuator motors were actually replaced in Oct-23 while I am not aware of any fault with the rod bearings or work that has been advised by BMW.
The only other noteworthy item is the occasional grinding noise when turning close to full lock. This was diagnosed and remedied by BMW in Dec-21. From the Vehicle Health Check at that time... "Investigation into the grinding noise when turning. I found that there is a PUMA saying to replace the Diff oil with a booster oil." Cost to remedy was £60 at the time and there has been no sign of that sound since Dec-21 until very recently.
Aside from this, I am not aware of any other mechanical issues nor of any outstanding advisories from BMW.
