Personal Grinta Steering Wheel

I have one of these which I think is great. However, I am having a stainless steel dash added and I have seen one of these where the metal section around the horn button looks like a brushed chrome finish.
Does anyone know if this design has a special name or even better if you know how to remove the black finish to expose what I assume is my desired finish underneath.

Haha, I did.
I like this one though. Still has the brushed effect. I just spent a day rubbing it away and slowly polished it to a rather nice shine.
It’s dulled off a bit now but won’t take 5 mins to bring back to alloy perfection
