The search for perfection never ends.
Over the years my original mirror has misted very slightly.
Remind me, are they originally off a 205 GTI ?

Of a 205, yes, but mk1 until 1987, whichever model.

Swap it for an MGTF one with built in LED map lights (or an earlier MGF one and fit LED T10 bulbs (I think T10)). That way you get some cabin lighting that is useful when the roof is down.

Same as most early Peugeot/Renault models.

Presumably that requires a live feed?

Me? All three from the interior light. So constant +, switched + (from door switches) and earth -. You'll need a new screen mount too. All bits readily available from evilbay. I bought one set that included the screen mount.

Although, I ditched the mirror in the Sag. No point as the 'gurney' block most of the view.
