“Intelligent Speed Assist”

IIRC all new cars sold from 4th (?) July have to come with this nonsense installed.

Anyone taken delivery of a new car with this present?

Not taken delivery but I had a 2024 Cayenne Coupe as a courtesy car this week. At first I couldn't work out why it kept beeping at me then I realized it was the speed warning. It activates at about 2 mph over from what I remember and the e-hybrid is basically the worst car in the world to try and keep under the speed limit as it has zero engine braking in e-hybrid mode (not sure if there is a way to change this). The steering assist was also mildly alarming when it tried to steer itself around a corner at 60 mph .. It can all be turned off but you need to do it every time (for the speed warning at least).

I’ve got a 2024 car of another brand and it has a handy button on the steering wheel you press twice and it’s off

Annoying but not the end of the world
