VH Vantage - Rear light inserts

Can someone confirm for me please that the rear light insert on a VH Vantage is just held on with double sided tape?

I have some lovley carbon ones fromECPS I would like to fit and want to know so I can take the existing ones off the correct way (which I believe is mild heat to soften the existing glue and fishing line to break it)

The factory ones have 2 or 3 tabs that insert into the tail lights as well as the double sided tape. I had a shop do mine. I was afraid of breaking the tabs. It only took them a few minutes, but didn’t watch them.

Yes, double sided tape. I used a flat blade knife. Go in at the square end and just take it steady.
