Can anyone enlighten me on dash earth points please, any and all of them as I might as well check them before putting dash top back on.
Thanks Alun

They are on the offside tranny tunnel top.
I believe there are one or two on the nearside too so if you were going to check them maybe consider doing both sides as they do work loose.

Alun,
Assuming that they are the same on a Griffith two snaps attached. The nearside one has the main battery earth plusa few others.

Thanks chaps.
I’ve checked n/s and I specifically made sure they were fully tight when I did my body off and checked them again only the other day.
No earths on right hand tunnel bolt on my 2000 year car.
That’s good then. thumbup

Paul clearly better access to these bolts on a Griff as mine needed double jointed fingers to get at them. My dash sits a bit lower than a Griff.
Also what’s that black switch next to it ?

As Sardonicus says its for the sat Nav, avoids cable trailing over to the socket in the OS door I also have one on the drivers side for a camera

That’s a good idea.
I’ve had occasion where my iPhone cable has caused me to be tangled up in it and or I forget, jump out the car to find my phone becoming a high speed missile wink

Each to their own but I prefer the threaded type but you can also have dual USB style volt read out etc etc its your call just make sure its fused 10/15 AMP will do , and if you put under lower dash no unsightly holes/modification https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/195987078040?itmmeta=01...

That’s very reasonable.
I’ll bookmark that for another day
