My alarm system threw a wobbly yesterday and wouldn't come out of "blackjack" mode. It's an old Clifford system that was in the car when I bought it (almost 20 years ago now! )

Anyone got any recommendations for a more up-to-date tried and tested system for the Cerb?

Carl baker is the normal choice in such case - he sorted mine

HF solutions also have options and worth a call if Carl not in UK!

I have just replaced my old meta system with an updated plug and play system from here. So may be worth a look too. He is very helpful on the phone if needed.

Carl Baker is the usual go to name, but if I remember correctly is only in the uk a couple of times a year. He works through Taylor TVR in Kent when here if that’s local to you.

Thanks guys. Guess what - that damn silver key! I did try it numerous times while waiting over 3 hours for recovery. The alarm system had definitely thrown a wobbly and was non-responsive - would not come out of hy-jack (black-jax in clifford systems) mode, but I managed to connect the configuration software today and reset the system. Up and running again.

Now just need to regain confidence in the thing.

Cheers.
