yes i know this can be a bit sensitive one this, but not sure it so much these days as Marc Elvis Priestley announced to the nation and indeed the world how to get into a Griffith, it involved inserting a key located somewhere wink wink, however I checked my Chim (2000) and nothing there, now there is the lever located where it was on my old one, but how do I get to it with a flat battery cos that involves opening the door, is it still so much of a secret these days? the only other option is to buy a new battery now just in case lol

he was restoring a Griffith on Wheeler dealers once and openly announced how to get in one when the battery is flat

My Chimaera 2001 Mk3 has no access at the back. Older models apparently did have. Not sure when they stopped fitting the access.

It's only on the early Griffs though. I've had 3 x Chimaeras (2 had the flat rear plate) and currently a '99 Griff that do not have that slot. At least it required a key.... rolleyes Oldest one was a Jan 1995 car, so it stopped before then.

Talking in code. I have a MK1 with a Steve Edwards hard top.

Now I know the action at the rear and have had success previously. But from there the thing mentioned in the bible isn't there, and I no longer have the upper option.

So do I rely on the keys, or try to add in the thing from the bible.

Is the suitably obscure?

Put it this way , when the law changed and rear number plates were required to be illuminated , things changed smile .
