Does anyone know where I can buy these very small lights that fit into the dash for the heater controls please.
I’m not even sure what they are called or how you remove them from the wires they connect too.
They look like the two prongs are soldered to the wires then heat shrinked individually then another one over the top.

Mine were bonded to the steel dash backing plate and the red one broke trying to remove it.

I believe they are LEDs filed into a triangular shape to fit into the small holes. Classic TVR approach smile

Saying that, mine’s a mk1, so I’m less familiar with the later dash details

Thanks gents. The bulb is actually round and yes fits into the triangular plastic section in the heater housing that then fits in the dash.
Rather amazingly I thing Frank ( blazeaway ) has one.

This is why I love the community.
Here’s me thinking it will be unobtainable but someone just happens to have one.
Just when you think the chips are down someone possesses what I thought would be impossible to find..
that’s if we can find it in his Aladdins cave of a garage.

Thanks Adrian I’ll look for that part number thumbup

Both numbers look similar to me.

The later picture showing the dash looks like my dash and to correct my earlier post the bulb is round fitting into a round hole and not the triangular lower ones.
I assume they are the same type of bulbs just fitting into the triangular plastic casing fitted to the heater control for up and down direction.

Thanks very much.

So another question,
What would these Mil and brake warning bulb and holder and tiny circuit board bulbs come under the heading of.

I’d rather replace the complete units.
Thanks.

Re the alloy edged display lamps, I have have not seen. Re the TVR items added to lamps/LEDs and resistors/diodes/power supplies etc. they will be need to be copied/matched as the looms changes (hence the with and without LEDs for sale). You will know from others musings on PH, that things as fitted to TVR 'should not work' but then that would have most TVR's disabled and off the road. A@

That's extremely helpful, I've got one LED that's out on the heater controls.
Causes me no problem, but the idea of being able to just buy them to spec and shape, then just solder a replacement is awesome!

I saw them sold on Ebay, I think they where even more £££ when I did my dash. I just bought the leds from maplin and filed them to shape they only took a few mins and they polish up really well. I think I paid less than £1 for what I needed
