Continuous improvements
Discussion
A few little jobs that eventually add upto a lot of improvements.
Bonnet re aligned and catch adjusted after re oiling the cable
You’ll notice brand new headlight reflectors.
I bought these off another TVR owner about 10 years ago who was going for the pod conversion.
I prefer the standard lights and very happy with them.
A bit of tarting up of my Brembo brake discs
326 mm big brake kit which work exceptionally well on such a light car.
They are not strictly necessary but do allow better moderation and control and stop the car very effectively.
Then came the dreaded dash removal for one a very talented friend made for me.
Everything came apart well other than two warning lights which snapped off their equally tiny circuit boards so spent some time re soldering the connections.
All good though.
Should have it back together later today fingers crossed.
See how the colour changes based on the light.
See those door gaps. Not many are that good.
The beauty of the later bodied cars

Looks great!
I like those aluminium vents at the front of your dash that push the air onto the windscreen. I've seen them for sale on one of the TVR parts website - can the existing plastic ones just be pulled out and then these are pushed in place or is it more complicated than that?
The gearstick looks a bit different - is that something temporary you have on there or is that just how you like to drive?

The vent surrounds are just a 'pull out and push fit'. They were originally part of the Leven collection of interior upgrades, have a feeling I've seen them for sale somewhere but can't flipping remember where. Will add to this post if I do find them.I like those aluminium vents at the front of your dash that push the air onto the windscreen. As an FYI I also have them fitted and they can reflect off the screen in certain sunlight conditions quite prominantly.
Eg

Unless your a very short person I do’t find the reflection is anywhere near my eye line and doesn’t effect my ability to drive with them at all. As an FYI I also have them fitted and they can reflect off the screen in certain sunlight conditions quite prominantly.

The gear knob has to be removed to take out the centre section padding so that’s just the gator sitting in its natural position.
And yes the stainless dash vents are just a push fit
