Chimaera - for tall people only?
Discussion
Considering a TVR Chim in 4.5 or 5 stock, sat in A 4.5 today for the first time and even with the seat fully forward I could only just, at a stretch, put the clutch fully down. Definitely not comfortable. I'm 5'6 and have regular length legs for someone of that height.
What solutions are possible. Some kind of pedal extensions? Booster seat
Car sounded great, maybe not quite as noisy as expected but sure beats a VAG 2.0.
Thanks
Simon

Simon, You can tailer the seating position to suit yourself - seats adustable as the peddles and steering wheel (only for angle). I am only 5'8" so the seating position is fine for me. I f you feel that the seat is too low, you can always raise it.
Buy a good one and you won't regret it.

I'm way shorter than you and have the extended Leven pedals fitted. Absolutely no idea if you can get hold of any now unfortunately.
As others have said the standard pedals will screw in and out a certain amount and the seat can be lifted and brought forward as well.
Failing all of that I guess you could remove the pedals, cut the threaded rod off the end and weld on a longer rod...

Being only 5ft 6 myself, I also experienced similar issues where i couldn’t fully depress the clutch, even with the seat in the furthest forward position and the pedals adjusted. There’s a member on here called Peter Essling who made some extended pedals for me, and they work really well. They also look much nicer than the standard rubber pedals too.
