Looking at a Mini Cooper 3dr with factory option John Cooper Works Sport Pack.

Its not a modified car, buts sure as hell is very different to lower spec Mini Cooper 3dr's

Do you declare the John Cooper Works Sport Pack when getting insurance quotes?

My 911 has the factory fitted aero kit [bodykit). Every time I have taken out new insurance on it I have asked about this and been told that if it was factory fitted then it is covered and not considered a modification.

I've just bought exactly the same spec mini. It was supplied like that with the pack as standard therefore I haven't specifically declared a mod as it's fctory standard, not modified.

We declared ours, think it added £10 to the cost of the policy.
