Is it the obvious because its such a stunning colour its sold the 110 allocation or am I missing something else here!

Was looking at the Alpine configurator to spec a brand new A110 but the colour I love the most is Emerald Green - I cannot have that apparently! I know about the 110 in each colour limit is it as simple as they have sold 110 so no more will be produced? And they would rather lose a potential sale than make another! I only want new have seen a few used Emerald Green but not the spec I want.

I'm in the same boat as you, there are a few colours of A110 that I really like, but they've sold out and there are none for sale used in the UK frown

I guess there's always the possibility of getting it wrapped?

Would never get it wrapped they never look right plus need maintenance (do not like being parked in direct sunlight for long the wrap fades rapidly - you need a garage or cover to park them).

Alpine only make 110 per colour so naturally the more popular colours sell out fast I guess...just means you go elsewhere if you really want that colour. The current finance deal they offer is nice but as they do not have the colour I want I will just live without one then & my money will go elsewhere!

Is it pointless to note that once inside the car revelling in the driving experience you cannot really see the colour ?

I feel the drive is more important than the colour.

If it was a Porsche I'd have to be satisfied with black, blue or grey!

I can imagine the conversation "listen mate I appreciate you have sold all 110 colours but it's only one more I need, have a word with the factory will you" wink

<cough> don't mention the doors biggrin <cough>

OP, I'm really sorry you can't spec the car the way you'd like - and that's a big deal as it's a lot of wedge to commit. The Atelier range was announced years ago though (what, 2020?) and was always explicitly limited in volumes. It was a bold strategy, and perhaps a flawed one (leaned too much into heritage and rarity, offered some proper oddball shades which never made it to double figure units, whole thing probably dragged on years longer than they expected due to limited uptake), but they've stuck to it at least.

It's unfortunate for you, but I can't think of any manufacturer who would revive an option 'just' to make one sale - that's not to trivialise your position; it can take an awful lot to turn terminated options back on and doing so could make that option infeasibly expensive (even paint). Not to mention pissing off the folk who invested in the 'limited' part of 'limited edition'.

I heard rumours of a straight red colour in the pipeline at the weekend; if you think about it that's an equally egregious omission (for a sports car) which might already have put some punters off, similarly.

Hope the ideal Emerald car appears in the classifieds soon for you - it's a great club to join. smile

New old stock (2022 model), and has comfort seats rather than buckets, which is what I presume the OP was talking about when they were saying "but not the spec I want"...

Did confuse me - #35 but on a 24 plate?

Haven't updated the Atelier thread in a year but #058 was the highest number I had at that point. I'd better go digging.

Yes I know all about that one with 10 miles on the clock...the 9.9% APR is a deal breaker no wonder its sat there for so many months!

I only want a brand new one though as I would never sell it. Its a lot of money as you said I could easily get that 10 mile one tomorrow (which appears to be the only Emerald Green on sale in the UK right now) but £72K worth of finance is just not worth it to me - I could throw a larger deposit down but its just not worth it @ 9.9%. I really like these cars & want to own one new but the pricing has to make sense also! Just a shame for Alpine I am sure there are many others put off by the limited can only have it in this colour policy which is pretty pointless when you think of it as they will not get a cut of sales from a used Alpine unless its a main dealer & the dealer gets the cut not Alpine themselves! Flawed logic should have been 1100 then no colour would have sold out!

If it was 1100 per colour though they would not have been able to charge so much + I doubt I would have bothered; to me it was exclusive enough given the low number being produced^.

Have you spoken to Mark at Solihull? I got my car from there in December last year and am on more like 3% for my finance top up (can't remember the exact rate, but I wouldn't buy at 9.9% either!)

That car has been in the show room for quite a while, so there must be a deal to be done!

Just looked at the green one. My god! that's lovely.

I've currently got a bit in the bank from the ex marital home sale and should be looking for somewhere to live in order to get out of renting and be sensible.......

I'll wonder if they'd give me a good part ex on my almost new Abarth 695 smile

Will call him tomorrow see what he says 3% I will do it for that 9.9% is excessive its been around a while because it has the 252bhp engine but that's enough for me on UK roads its still going to be a monster to drive!
