2024 Fiat 500 Hybrid - usb type?

We are hiring a newish Fiat 500 next week to attend a family event. It's quite a complicated journey and we were wondering what sort of USB connects to android auto? Any insight would be appreciated.

Fiat 500 and Abarth both have the bog standard old school USB connector in the car, MY21 on have 2 x USB's while earlier have just one.

I've only ever used Apple for the Carplay in my Abarth and 500 so can't comment on the Android part of it. It is a really easy and quick set up in these although the screen isn't big if you're used to "more premium" cars.

Well so much for that! Turned up and they didn't have a Fiat 500 as ordered! Two hundred miles in an Nissan Juke automatic. Genuinely one of the worst cars I have ever driven - comfortable and well built but that gearbox!

That's a shame, hire car places are generally shocked if you ask for a Fiat 500 when they've got them...had the same reaction a few times. Had some epic hire car drives in a 500

My 2024 Abarth works brilliantly with Android Auto, if you ever get another 500 hire car.

It was 5 weeks in Tenerife with a Fiat 500 Hybrid hire car that convinced me to buy an Abarth when I returned home
